Is there such a thing as "sellers remorse?" I think I may have it. I just sold my little quirky ragroof 77EMS, the car that i've spent the past 8 years fussing over. I wasn't really trying that hard to sell it - happened so fast! We exchanged cash and title this morning, but the car will sit in my garage for another week until they come back to collect it. I won't be able to go near it without feeling numb and nostalgic, thinking about all the time i've spent tinkering on that thing!
I guess I got a pretty fair price - asking $3900 and took $3800, plus I threw in a nice set of soccer ball wheels (wearing shelbys). In the past 24 hrs, i have gotten so many emails, i could hardly keep up! (it was listed in the ebay classifieds for 6 days).
Thanks to everyone on this board for all the great help & support, especially the 99 Godfather, Doug M, and m'man, Dan McDonald (who spent hrs helping me with the engine rebuild when he was here in SC). I'm not on here that often anymore, but the bank of knowledge represented is literally staggering. I do have an extra windshield and a set of turbo rims, if anyone is interested, let me know. Take care, all. I will be around the other boards (9-3, 9-5)- once you've been smitten by a 99, it's hard to stay away, so I'll probably be back around. Take care all, Scott K.
