Saab Model 99 Bulletin Board 1969-1984 | |
After a rebuild including a new water pump with bearing and seals, I am getting a slow coolant leak from the water pump area when I fill up the coolant overflow tank. I thought I installed in correctly. I carefully followed the manual and used the correct water pump tool. This is for a '79 SAAB with the pump as pictured below. Is it possible that if I fill it again and run the car that something will settle in? Or should I just take the pump out before now without testing it. Has anyone else hit this? Thanks in advance!
