I'm a little late in the game here. I have a 69 99. I tried to get mine done by Cardone. They at the time wouldn't do it. I contacted Scan West in Seattle and they sent it off for me, and had it rebuilt. Nothing was said, but the impression I got was Cardone did it.
It was similar to a couple of Mercedes units, and I was contemplating trying to modify and or convert to something like that before I was able to get mine rebuilt.
Don't know if you were able to get yours done, or are still working on it.
As an aside I found a shop in Portland to rebuild the vacuum advance unit on the distributor. They were no long available either.
