|Saab Model 99 Bulletin Board|
Hi. I finally actually got my dream car, a red 1978 GL, today!
It's missing a gear shift knob. Seems to have been lost in transit. Peculiar. The car has a 5 speed transmission from a 900. That might be germane.
It's already a lot of fun to drive. But it would be more fun with a knob on the gear shift. I know. British people are already dying over this post.
Where do I buy one? What should I be careful about, buying one on the internet? What will work? What will appear to be the sort of thing that will work but won't in fact fit on the end of the stick? What should I know?
