My '76 EMS, 'B' w/ 30 over, & 5 spd, running 225/45/15 Hoosiers by the speedo pulls just about 100MPH in 4th before braking on the front straight without chicane at PIR - Portland International Raceway. My enjoyment of the calcs for 'actual' come from preparing to attempt to figure best gearing-trans / tire set-up for autocross and track days. I began running the 99 in autocross " just to see" and now I'm hooked. And then I ran it on the track and wanted even more. I've recently realized that I can lower the car too much - and have @ 2 1/2 " below stock.
