Just because the EMS is running doesnt mean it will be in a few days... You really should part out both cars extensively. All signals, lights, small interior bits like screws and panels, everything from the engine bay short of the block. Suspension bits, brake calipers, everything fuel related, maybe bumpers. The more decent spares you have, the less likely you will ever need them. The less spares you have, the more likely it is you will need them. Murphy's law was written for saab 99s. Now that I have bought every spare e-bay has to offer, my car is running great. Go figure. Take a set of basic spares with you for the drive. Fuel lines, fuel pump, all relays and fuses you can get your hands on, complete set of tools, plug wires and coil, and fluids to change everything out before the drive. I would definitely change the oil and maybe freshen up the coolant before a drive like that. The car might be in really great shape, and you wont need any of my advice, but better safe than sorry I say. What is the ems like? Good Luck!
