What I posted last week>
My manual shows bosch 0 580 254 994, output approx. 95W, capacity min. 750 cubic cm/30 sec....up to and including model year 1979.
bosch 0 580 254 978, output approx. 120W, capacity min. 900 cubic cm/30 sec....as from model year 1980.(also used on the early 900's until ??)
Now remember they went to plastic tanks in 1980, so there might be some dimension and mounting differences in up-grading pumps, which might also cause sealing issues(among other things), unless of course you put a plastic tank in yours.
What is the reason for a higher flow pump?....or you going to 16V yours if I remember correctly?
