parts interchangability: 1.85 and 2.0 engines

I'm not trying to ask a bozo question, I just don't want to toss away parts I may be able to use (or are hard to find and others may be able to use).
I have a 1973 parts car with a 2.0 engine and 4-speed trans; everything is gone off the car except the engine and trans, and my wife is hinting (vigorously) to get the chassis off the property. My 1972 99E has a Triumph 1.85 and I wanted to know if anything off the 2.0 can be used on the 1.85, i.e. alternator, fuel pump, etc. before the auto recyclers come pick up the chassis.
The 2.0 engine and trans have 120,xxx miles on them...should I pull them and hold onto them?
Thanks for any suggestions,
Randoo
