Euro cluster in a US spec 99 Posted by DougM [Email] (#211) [Profile/Gallery] (more from DougM) on Sun, 4 Jun 2006 16:42:00 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I installed the cluster last weekend and everything appeared to be working just fine, but I didn't drive it till just today and.....
The fuel gauge kept climbing as I was driving. It started off just as the picture shows, but gradually made its way past the 1/4 mark. How odd! Just before I parked it for the night I filled the tank (8 gallons), and the gauge pegged down near the battery light.
The initial reading shown in the pic was basically the same place my other gauge read, so I thought it would work just fine.
I wonder if I switched the brown and green wires on the sending unit if the gauge will read the proper way? Any thoughts on this?
