The ignition ECU (on the RH wheel well under the hood) is the same.
The lambda ECU (under the passenger seat) is different:
'74-'79 99/900 non-turbo
SAAB part#: 8328841
Bosch part#: 0 280 800 002
'78-'79 99/900 Turbo
SAAB part#: 8339285
Bosch part#: 0 280 800 004
These numbers are for US cars. Not sure about other countries.
