They all can't be saved!
Mark was pretty firm on $500, but I saw it as a parts car only. I don't have room for another car, let alone a parts car. If it was in great shape, I had every intention to buy it and turn it around to sell(I would have made room somewhere). It would have had to be towed home, as he said it quit running. They cranked the battery till it was dead. There were a few nice parts(wheels, seats, hatch, windshield) but it had been in a front end collision sometime in it's life. The hood was replaced, and fitted poorly. I closed it and couldn't get it open again. Most of the car had been re-sprayed, and I saw poor bondo work. Who knows what lies underneath the bondo > rust perhaps? I don't have time for another project, as I can't even find the time to finish the one I started 3 years ago.
