Scott, I agree with Doug. You need a service manual. For a 99, the Haynes one is actually good (unlike the 900 one). Factory one is best. The best advise I can give you is to post with as much information as possible. I replied to your post about being stuck in reverse a while back, having first had to look into your previous postings to find your year and also some more info. How long did the car sit before you bought it? How many miles are on that clutch disc? Was it OK before the previous owner left it parked for some time before it was stuck in reverse? Did the previous owner have some clutch work done? If you look at your throwout bearing, it pivots on the end of the adjustment rod. A clutch disc has two surfaces, and either side can seize to its mating surface (flywheel or pressure plate). As silly as spraying it down with WD40 may sound, that coupled with a few wacks to the pressure plate may be all you need. You may also try to over adjust your throwout bearing inward to Pop it free while clutching (not shifting). If it frees up, you will have some nasty clutch slipage, but like a brake rotor, it wil de-rust the mating surface. At this point, you need to get all that oil off your clutch Imediatly. At the bottom end of the bell housing, you will see there are drain holes in the casting. Make sure the drains are clear, spray simple green, and hose off the clutch. Brake cleaner will work too. These clutches can go a long way...you may not even need a new one.
