This is great work DougM - keep it up! We're all going to need this info.
It is curious that the left and right boots listed for Saab 99, 1974-1984 #QG2200 have identical dimensions. My rack has different diameters for the inboard side left vs. right. Saab lists different part numbers for left vs. right. Maybe they use the smaller diameter - which is the left (passenger) and assume it will stretch to fit the right (drivers) side.
FYI, my factory left boot I got from the dealer was around $32 and it was made in Great Britain. The right side aftermarket boot was made by Karlyn Industries and was around $23 I think. The Karlyn boot was much thinner and more pliable, you could say cheap. And it came with the wrong sized clamps, so I reused the inboard clamp. Both boots fit perfectly.
