How does the core connect to the tranny? My cable is properly lubed, and it is not binding. I just think it is not connecting to what drives it, or what drives it is no longer working.
Exactly how does the cable core end fit to the piece in the transmission that makes it turn? I see a small hole where the cable screws on, but does the core piece have to be inserted further in somewhere? It seems like it just has to fit into that small hole that I can see, but maybe there is something I don't know. I can't find it illustrated anywhere. Thanks!
