Hi Justin,

I don't have my schematics here at work...but from memory:

1) The big red wire comes directly from the battery.
2) The gray one goes to the alternator (I think).
3) The blue one probably goes to the tab on the solenoid. This comes from the ignition switch. It powers the solenoid during starting. The solenoid should "click" and then connects the battery voltage to the starter to turn it. The ground connection is through the starter case itself.

So first, you need to troubleshoot the solenoid and control circuit. Remove the wire from the clip, attach a voltmeter, turn the key to "start" and you should read 12V. If you don't, you have a problem with that control wire circuit (wire, ignition switch, etc.)

If you do have 12V on the solenoid wire, then connect it back up and measure the voltage on it when you turn the key to start, just to make sure it's still 12V. If it gets dragged down, it could be a shorted solenoid. If it's still 12V on that wire, and 12V on the big red one, it points to an OPEN solenoid or failed starter.

Another way to check it is to CAREFULLY connect a stout jumper between the big red lead on the starter and the clip on solenoid. If the car turns over, then the problem is with the start circuit from the ignition switch. If it doesn't it points to the starter.

Hope this helps!
