Hi Jerry,
Early 80's 900 alternators work great! They are virtually bolt in replacements. You have to change the pulley over, and reverse the fan. Takes 5 minutes. Plus, they have the internal voltage regulator so you can forego the old style on the inner fender. Most are rated at 80 or 85 amps. Plenty of juice to run any accessories you want!
