Thanks.. that's exactly what I needed to know. I just had to remove/replace the transaxle from our front drive "Figaro" and found a similar setup there, but I didn't want to get the car half-way into the process and have to sit up on our 2 post lift forever!
Thus far I have managed to retain the roller bearing caps on the "new" setup I'll be installing, and I'll know what to look for when they come out.
Perhaps tomorrow I'll tackle the project. with luck, it should go smoothly.
One final question.. just wonder if you've had experience with the disc brake setup? It seems that a different diameter bore in the master cylinder would be appropriate for the discs, but someone told me Saab used the same master? I guess I will find out if that's appropriate when I get it all together!
