hi,
I have a SAAB 9-3 automatic (1998 model). Once in a while, when I start the car (even before puuting it into drive or reverse), I can see that it does not have enough power, the rpm needle goes slightly down and up and have the feeling that the engine will stop any moment. It is v v rough at idle and the steering wheel vibrates.. if I take the car into drive, it seems it does not have enough power to get into upper gear even if I accelerate further. The auto transmission should not be the problem (just serviced the auto transm), it seems that the engine does not get from the computer the correct info to provide the entire power. I usually turn it off, restart it then it runs smootly, no vibration of the steering wheel at idle. I didn't take it to the saab people because I want to know first what it is wrong with it.
anyone can give me an idea of why this happens. thanks
