The fact that the in dash factory system, be it with or without navigation, controls the climate system, ends the discussion about getting an after market system, whether or not one fits.

I am also intrigued by last paragraph of your message but something perhaps got dropped in typing " and the screen the the dash to control it ". How does the App Radio work again as could not follow to end of that paragraph.

I would be happy to have a Garmin or Tom Tom I suppose except cant stand the dash or screen mountings or cables running from the cigarette lighter, which I assume rules them out
