Whatever you do, if you are considering an extended warranty, do not go near this company. Utterly deceptive and misleading selling tactics. I had asked for a " bumper to bumper " quote and received something that said " elite 1-14 " which turns out to be not bumper to bumper but only things on list in paragraphs 1-14. So first attempt to pull wool defended. Then I spotted a provision that said if manufacturer had provided a warranty but was no longer in business then US Direct would not cover it. Saab anyone? Also, an exclusion for a pre-existing condition in addition to a " validation period" of 30 days and 1,000 miles. I was told " we do business with Saab owners all time, so sure no problem, that wont apply" and " after validation period you can make claim, no problem". So, of course I asked to get this in writing. At first they said sure, then got supervisor on phone who said, I will send you policy from different company that will work for these issues. Not only did it not address the two issues I mentioned ( the result would be the same ) it cut back coverage as was limited list not bumper to bumper and they were on phone asking for my credit car number to pay for this new policy without giving me chance to read but luckily I did read and and declined and said I would have to read whole thing. When I called back, they said again two issues would be addressed but as I pressed for it in writing ( as they pressed for my credit card number ) they backtracked, eventually saying they could have sold 2 or 3 more policies in time taken talking to me...at which point I told them where to go..They are an outrageously offensively unprofessional outfit and I have no doubt that I would have never been able to make a claim if I ever signed up...I hear that the world of extended warranties for cars is full of tricksters and cowboys but watch out for these guys because they perhaps are the worst hard sell, unprofessional business I have ever come across
