Belkin sells an iPod mount with a base that fits into the between-the-seat cup holder. It's gray and white plastic, and is the same holder that comes with the VW Beetle w/iPod. You can get it at an Apple store or from their Web site. I've used my iPod with a cassette adapter with decent results (slight hum sometimes), and it's nice for long trips. It's inelegant for around town though because you've got to take iPod with you to avoid theft and/or damage from temperature extremes. So...I still use iPod on long trips, but for daily driving I've burned my playlist onto a set of CDs (since it's too dangerous to try to navigate iPod while driving anyway). It's cheap enough, the sound quality is first-rate and the interface is non-distracting.
