Hi guys. For your info I have changed the expansion valve and receiver but the noise is still there but somewhat less. I do not now what to think, maybe something vibrating on the evaporator.
Did somebody managed to get to the evaporator?
I include the link to the original thread.
By the way when ordering from eEuroparts bear in mind that they are clueless about which "O"ring goes were. The expansion valve needs 4 rings but their drawing show only the outer ones(2). Their drawing shows no rings for the drier in/out or press. switch either. At first they swore they were included in the expansion valve and drier. B.S. I had to place another order and pay for it only to find out that they still did not get it right fully. They sent me the wrong drier in/out rings.
When I placed the first order I also got the parts for a head gasket replacement. They also sent 2 valve seals which were clearly different in size and color. I wonder who fills the order there? Delivery was fast though. Not much use if you have to do things twice or more anyway!
I hope someone at eEuroparts reads the BB
Cheers
Giovanni
