My suggestion - get them fixed before they get worse. I know that's definitely not what you want to hear. I'm in the process of purchasing a 1996 900 SE Turbo. It had several slow leaks and the current owner agreed to split the cost of having the problem fixed. The mechanic quoted a repair of $800 - $1,000. The final bill was about $870. The current owner seems very pleased with the work and indicated that the air-conditioner is now in good working order. Having that said, I can do nothing but recommend having the leaks fixed...or you can do without. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet, although I realize that isn't the easiest solution sometimes. Please feel free to respond with any questions. Good luck, drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
