Back in late March, I was persuaded to replace the rear window of my 95SET, rather than the entire top. I had received both pro and con comments on this board regarding the window only replacement, but in the end decided to go ahead with it. A convertible top shop was recommended to me by an acquaintance, and they said they could do the job, with a "lifetime" warranty on the repair.

Yesterday I noticed a slight lifting of the top fabric from the glass. Closer inspection showed that about 1/3 of the perimeter of the window was loose. I called the owner of the shop who did the work. He said he'd reglue it, but it would just come apart again... in other words "tough luck". He said he used the best glue in existence, and if that didn't hold, nothing would.

Needless to say, I'm really bummed, and not sure where to turn. What I'd really like to know is what glue people have used to repair these windows. Haru was one respondent to my posts in March who said the window repair could be done. Haru, what is the glue of choice? Is it too much to ask for you to post your email address so that I can respond directly to you?
