GaryG (or others), I have had a SAI related CEL for over a year. It was running, but must have had some internal problem. I pulled relay C as per your previous posts, but the SAI continued to run. this may have been part of the problem. To get it to not run, I followed other advice out here (was it dean?), and pulled fuse 20 (I think that was the number). THe SAI did not run, however, the CEL came up in a week.
Recently, I put fuse 20 back in, kept relay C out, and also capped the vacuum line going to the SAI. No CEL yet after 2 weeks, and the SAI does not run. I am hoping the SAI CEL days are over.
HOwever, I just read a post from a while back by GaryG saying he pulled a CEL recently and figured it to be SAI related. Is that true? Then the relay C pull is not a "work-around"? Just wondering if you have any follow up information.
