Wheel bearing on it's way out?

98 900SE T Talladega 135k km's
I recently started to hear a constant humming noise while driving around 70kmh and above. It happens all the time on right turns and moderate on a straights. Never on left turns at those speeds. Sound is same with car in neutral. I also switched the winter tires up front back to the summers and the result was the same. So tires are ruled out.
I am guessing the left front wheel bearings.
2 years ago the right wheel bearing was replaced with the same symptoms accept the noise was on left turns and came from the right side (as I recall).
My local SAAB dealer quoted me 1.2 hours of labor to replace the wheel bearing. Coming to $94 Canadian. & $111 for the bearing. A site sponsor has the bearing for $40 US.
Questions:
1. Sound like this is the driver side wheel bearing?
2. Dose the 1.2 hours of labor make sense??? I thought it would be more.
3. Can I drive a few days if I order the wheel bearings?
