Finally, Whining noise is fixed!!!

Thanks to Dean, Swedecar, Czar, and everyone who chipped in on the previous threads. To recap, I had a whining noise in the front passenger side of the engine. It went away after the engine warmed up. Took the belt off an it was still there. I took it into the shop and they eventually had to drop the oil pan. The pick up screen was completely clogged up. They cleaned it thoroughly and put it back together and it runs fine now. I've got to admit, that all of the little troubles that I have had with this car since I bought it have almost nickled and dimed me to death both monetarily and in terms of my enthusiasm for SAAB. I'm driving this car for another year and then I'm trading her in on something more reliable. I've always loved the idea of SAAB, but I am getting a little tired of swimming up stream. Maybe I'll just buy a Mac instead. The frustrations involved in that have to be cheaper overall :).
