idling too high? IE, if you put your car in neutral, does it idle above 900 - 1000rpm? If it does, take it to your dealer, the idle should not be above 1000rpm. If it does not, use your brakes to stop/slow you down. Brakes are very inexpensive compared to transmission parts. Automatics are not made to shift in and out of neutral. They are made to shift out of neutral/park when you first leave and into neutral/park when you stop.
