I'd say this writer has his head in a cark place... TWR should be taking a hit for selecting the Dunlop tires on the Viggen...
The unruley handling characteristic for the Viggen are no where near as frightening with the Michelin Pilots that are on my Viggen as replacements for the Dunlops...
The Viggen is a beast to handle precisely because it *is* pushing the performance envelope of a front wheel drive vehicle, much the same way RWD cars were pushed to their limits of their abiltity to handle power in the late 60's to early 70's... given improper respect, those vehicles would have you a ditch just as quick.
I do not want a car that is mindless to drive. I enjoy the challenge presente dby the car and the power.... I do not want automatically correcting, stupid proof automoblies.... look what happened to that AirBus in France when they took control away. Any trouble a Viggen owner gets into, is the fault of the driver.
Someone send the writer an invitaion to discuss the technical issues and opinions.... no flames intended....
