I agree on the price thing. However, it's much more of a supply vs. demand thing. BMW doesn't have to discount the 325i's much because they're sold before they're even driven off the ship. Saab must discount more.

I have to agree with C&D on one point, and that is the suspension. I'm sorry, but I don't know of too many vehicles that ride rougher than my 9-3 SE, except for maybe a Jeep. The BMW 3-series offers great handling with or without the sport package, and it doesn't rattle your brain in the process. I can deal with the 9-3's quirks and torque steer, but the ride is getting old real fast. Are the roads in Sweden that much better?
