I realize there has been alot of talk on this board about 9.3 air control and temperature knobs and hte mechanism in the dash. I've noticed something odd in my 2000 base lately. During the AM commute everything seems OK. Ambient is mid 50's and I start with air directed to footwell and some heat. After about 15 minutes on a sunny day I switch to full dash vents and no heat. Everything seems OK. If I go out from work to run an errand, perhaps after 2 hours of the car sitting (in a covered garage) I notice that the air from the vents is really warm. Its almost as if some plenum chamber somewhere has had a hot soak during the car sitting and the engine dissipating heat. It cools off a bit as I'm driving but it never really feels as cool as outside air. It also doesn't seem to be much of a problem when the air temp is below 70. Is it possible that my temp control knob is maladjusted so that even though I have it on the blue area that I'm really on low heat?
