I have another opinion. The speedo is mechnical. The SID is digital. Unless your speedo has been certified; there is usually some variance between speed as-indicated and actual due to cable tension/elasticity. The SID on the other hand is probably more accurate since it is electronic. Try setting the cruise at desired speed, immediately clear the SID and read the very first SID speed that is displayed. This is most likely the accurate speed.
