I think I read something about this recently---from what I remember the radar systems used in Europe utilize a different "band" or frequency than here in the states.....I believe there's only one radar detector sold in the states that also works in Europe, and it costs a mint for average performance. So I'm not sure what to recommend for use in Holland, or if the information I read is true for all of Europe. While Valentine is definitely my choice here in the states, on their website it says that they cannot be used in Europe.
