TG is absolutely correct. The additive is MBTS or MSTB or MFSB...no not the last one, but it is VERY common and it leaves a redish brown deposit on the plugs. For the life of me I cannot remember the letters for the additive.
TG, as my memory seems to be going, I have always heard it was the 2nd thing to go. Do you remember the first?
As far as winter summer fuels go, I owned an early 80's Isuzu Impulse, the one based on Guigiarro's (sp?) Ace of Clubs. It was fuel injected and when we would get one of those occasional late spring days (temp wise) in the middle of winter, it had vapor lock problems. You see, winter fuel is blended to turn to vapor much faster than summer fuel. Under those conditions, you would park it for 5 minutes after a long run, and while it always started immediately, if you tried to drive away, it had no power at all. The fuel was vaporizing in the fuel rail, and it took a couple of minutes to clear it out.
