They must be defective tires. I can't think of anything you could do that would cause the tires to go out of round. You should be careful; my dad had one of his tires come out of round on his 900 some time ago and it eventually came apart. As I understand it, the belts seperated due to a defect in manufacture.
The Arctic Alpines are covered for workmanship for the first 2/32" of treadwear or one year, whichever comes first. Michelin is supposed to replace the defective tire(s) free of charge, including mount and balance. If you are down more than 2/32", then they pro-rate the cost of the tire based on how much you've used. If I were you, I'd contact Michelin first, as dealing with the TireRack will mean you have to pay to ship the tires back to them.
