I've got the Eibachs, but I haven't installed them yet. They're very reputable springs in general, and are supposed to be progressive to maintain as much comfort as possible. I have Koni dampers on at the moment which really help the car's ability to accelerate on turns as well as reduce weight transfer. I would highly recommend the Konis.
Despite this, I found that one quickly becomes accustomed to them and starts finding the car's limits on high speed turns. Lowering springs and stiffer swaybar are definetely not overkill. I'm also planning on installing 17"s -I've bought the rims already (saving up for the tires). As far as I know, 215/45/17 is a sure fit and is used as standard on the Viggen and (European) aero versions. I'm looking into 225/45 for better traction and comfort. From what I'm able to gather it will probably fit on three door cars but I want to be 100% sure before buying. FWIW, 235/40 will fit, but requires an offset of 42.
Hope this helps.
