It is the first time I bought a new car in US. I hope someone can help me:
I got a loan from a bank through a dealer in Chicago, IL. The bank in Harris Bank in Barrington, IL.
When I filled out the Wisconsin Title/License Plate application, the staff there gave me the license plate but she asked me for a Certificate of Origin (I just got it by mail today) in order to do the title.
If I borrow money from the bank, shouldn't they keep the Title until I pay off the loan ? Do I need to do anything for the Title now ? In other words, do I need to do anything else in addition to license registartion and insurance ?
Thank you very much for your help.
