My wife and I have an auto 9'3 and it's just great! That sport button on the shifter makes the car a kick in the pants to drive!
My daily driver is a modified 1988 Saab SPG with 175,000 miles on it.
The 9'3 says it will run on regular unleaded, but it also says it will run a bit better with premium, so we spring for the premium. In the grand scheme of things, you're talking about an incidental cost to ensure that the car's eating tasty gas. Maybe $2 - $3 per fillup more for premium? Totally worthwhile.
Good luck with the car. We love ours and my wife has never loved a car before. In fact, before this car, she never even cared about them. She was out conditioning the leather a couple of weeks ago. Go Mrs. G!
