NOT stupid question, but...

...I have horror stories in working with my local dealer on repair of my old '95 Saab 900 SE convertible. I had planned never to buy a Saab again a long as this dealership was here. But, my Saab was totalled by a hit and run collision and I was faced with buying a new car and could not find anything that I loved as much as my Saab. So, I ordered a new one.
On my old Saab I had a problem with my radio and my CD changer. Long story short is that a few months later and a couple of refurbished units later I finally had a repaired radio and a CD changer that only skipped some of the time.
So, if it was something as easy as a wire unplugged on the back of the radio, or the fuse that is back there I would have done it myself. But, all is okay there so I am stuck with taking it to my dealer.
Not what I want to do on my 1-week old Saab! Especially when they start telling me that they might have to take the dash apart...
Anyway, that's the history...Thanks, LG
