If you use any wheels below 98, the wheel will hit the front brake caliper. 98 900 uses 9-3 brakes which have larger diameter discs. The caliper mounting point had to be moved to accomidate the larger discs. If you change the tire size from OEM, you'll have the speedo programmed with tech II to maintain accuracy.
