Bad news for Houston Saabers?

I just called Momentum Saab here in Houston to have my (unfortunately annual) vent selector problem fixed ('99 9-3S) - they told me that Momentum would be servicing emergencies only as they are in the process of selling/moving Saab to David Taylor Cadillac...
Cadillac?????? (mental image of crusty Texan Caddy salesman... "This here Swed-er-landish hunchback car's got three pedals and some kinda stick thingy sprouting outta the console.. don't know whatcher gonna do widdat - how about a nahhhs ElDorado instead?")
I know about the whole GM thing, but one of the reasons I bought the Saab was the quality of the dealer, in this case one who has a long tradition of selling/ servicing BMW, Jag, Porsche, Volvo and Audi. I'm not at all confident that a Cadillac Man (with apologies to R. Williams), will either have or bother to acquire a feel for a European car, what with its odd fitments and multiple running changes and all. Moreover, I don't like the idea of my car being a guinea pig for new techs, especially as I am near the end of my warranty. I suppose that the Caddy folks will siphon some of the Saab specialists, but I can't imagine that anyone would give up working on myriad European performance cars to deal mainly in Cadillacs and Buicks with only the occassional Saab to slake the thirst for real cars.
Depressedly,
Saabstance
