After reading this article, it is simply one person's personal opinion about the car. When he comments that Toyota and Honda should be emulated for their interior "simpler is better", I can see his point, but personally, "character is better" is my opinion. A car that is boring to drive won't stay in my driveway very long. I've driven enough Hertz and Avis rental cars to know what works and what doesn't work for me.
We chose Saab because the car is unique, has character, and is fun to drive. Having come from a Volvo 850 and a BMW 325iX before that, each car has its pluses and minuses. The Volvo is probably a better every day car for someone who is looking for a more relaxed ride. And the 330i is pretty balanced overall, but doesn't play well in snowy climates (unless you buy an Xi and you'll spend WAY more than you will on a Saab!).
This article is not going to make me trade my Viggen in for an S60 or a 330i...unless they offer Lightning Blue and a huge trunk. ;-)
Cheers,
Paul H.
