The Saab Sports Stainless Steel exhaust system is the best buy and well respected.

I don't know the K&N numbers except for the orignal production which is a 33-2663. But that might not be right for your system. Remove your filter, measure its length and width. Go to a parts store that has K&N filters, look up the dimensions for a 33-2663 in the catalog that should be on the shelf with the filters. I think that the dimensions are: 11.18 by 6.25 inches, but this should be verified.

I do recommend the free flow exhaust prior to increasing boost. But if you feel uncertain, then you might want to try the manual boost controller first to determine if you want to go in this direction, or that it works well with your year's production.

Do some searches on MBC or boost controllers on the 9-3 BB.
