Hi gang,
Thank you all for the wonderful feedback on dealerships in LA. I can not expess how great this BB is; useful information and helpful suggestions make it a real pleasure to read.
I am working with Robert Thompson at Saab of Sherman Oaks. He has been great. I have test driven the car about four times with and without my partner and Robert has been so patient. Like Grazyna at Saab of Santa Monica, Robert really believes in the product he sells. At one point, I was considering the BMW 325 convertible, but It just didn't feel right to me. It was interesting because my other half didn't do a thing to sway my opinion, but was really pleased when I went with the Saab. You should have heard the shock in the BMW salesman's voice when I called him back to say "Thank you" for yet another test drive and I am going to buy the Saab. I guess he doesn't get that very often.
My new 9-3 SE convertible is on the boat and if all goes well should be ready for delivery next Wednesday. I hope it arrives sooner so that it can get the "Steve Treatment". I am very good at detailing and would like my new baby to have my special series of waxes applied before hitting the highway. The cars first trip will be to San Francisco on Thursday to visit friends and family. I am really hoping to have the new car to show off to my brother-in-law who is trying to get a '97 Jag convertible.
I Just ordered a hood protector in the clear acrylic which will probably get here before the car does. If only they could FedEx cars.
Thanks very much,
Steve H.
