There was a 'old' thread regarding the price of a SAAB in Sweden in comparison to the current US price.

SAAB Sweden have a scheme called International & Diplomat Sales (IDS). Major Swedish SAAB dealers all have IDS experts/contacts. I'm not sure of any special conditions or qualification for it.

Full Warranty Coverage

All cars purchased from Saab IDS are
covered by a worldwide, 12-month,
unlimited mileage warranty. If you ship
your car to Canada, the USA or the
United Kingdom, you are entitled to the
balance of the warranty coverage
applicable to all Saab cars delivered to
these countries.
Saab Assistance Service

All IDS cars delivered in Europe are
covered by the Saab Assistance
Service for a full year. This service is
free of charge and provides
on-the-spot help if anything
unexpected should happen to you car
while you are out on the road. You are
even covered for events which are the
fault of the driver, such as running out
of petrol or losing keys. A Saab
Assistance Centre is never further
away than the nearest telephone and it
is open 24 hours a day, all year round.
Home Shipment Programme

The Saab Home Shipment Programme is
available to those customers who buy a
car with US or Canadian specifications
and take delivery in Europe. The
service includes the cost of port
handling, ocean freight, marine
insurance and port brokerage. It is valid
or up to five years from the date of
delivery. You simply leave your Saab
with one of our authorised drop-off
agents and our trained professionals
will do the rest.
Drop-off Agencies

Saab has more then twenty authorised
locations throughout Europe where
your Saab can be dropped off for
further transport overseas. Your
professional agent will complete the
Shipment Order Form with you and will
then take care of all the handling
