My husbands car is due to be fixed in about two weeks....I totally understand the long wait! I'm almost embarrassed to say.....I have almost 43,000 miles on my 1999 9-3 SE!!! It still drives great! We bought the car in Florida and it has made many, many trips around the country...I LOVE this car!!! We also live out in what I affectionately call "the boonies" so getting anywhere worth going is about 20 minutes one way. My husband's 2001 9-3 S does not even have 8,000 miles on it..he works downtown, but he carpools with a neighbor who lives on the same street.
Yes, Saab does honor G.A. Myles work, he is trained by the same guys who train the dealer techs....he is a wonderful resource for all things Saab...please look into his services...you won't be disappointed! Maybe we'll see you driving around Clayton some time....enjoy your cars!
P.S. I don't mean to be so down on West County, it's just that we have had 3 really BAD experiences with their service department. For sales, my husband had a GREAT experience when purchasing our 2001 model...I'm sure my next Saab will be coming from them...but after the warranty period, serviced by G.A. Myles!
