The Aero with Viggen Seats would be a real challenge... without the seats, you just move around too much under spirited driving.
The Viggen is a bit quicker due to reduced weight.
That 2001 has the TCS on it, so while you can now control that wheel spin you get when getting into the accelerator, you also loose significant acceleration.
You may want to hold off for a 4dr. I say this afetr having a 97 900s 2dr for over three years and now driving a 4dr Viggen. The problem lies in getting in and out of the rear in a 2dr. In the 900s it wasn't a huge deal as it had manual seats that got out of the way easily, in the Viggen you have the elec seats and they only move with the seat motor.
The 2dr is a sharper looking car than the 4dr, but...
I have a buttload of pics and other stuff on my site http://www.midcoast.net/viggen/
If they can talk less than $35... it makes the deal easier.. but border line... if they start talking in the $33 range.. frig it, go for it.
