Repairing Bent Viggen Rims

I sent two rims, with tires mounted, to The Wheel Collision Center ( see attached link )on Monday, and recieved a call form them today indicating the the inside of both wheels were indeed bent. One was worse off than the other, as I suspected, and it is going to cost $115 to straighten the less damaged wheel and $180 to do the really bad one.
They also noted that on the really bad wheel the actual hub was bent out of alignment causing some severe wobble.
They are unable to repair the wheels to new, as the paint and process used on these wheels, uses a chemical that is not allowed to be brought into the US. This means that there is no way, short of buying new, or shipping the wheels to Europe to be refinished, to match the existing wheels that are not bent. Lucky they will be able to repair mine without affecting finish, as they are only working on the insode of each wheel.
I am glad that the WCC is available to repair the wheels. I am disappointed that there is no way to bring them back to factory finish.
It seems short sighted to use paint on low-profile wheel/tire combos, when from what I have learned here, bent rims are "to be expected", that cannot be duplicated in the US.
I still maintain that the OEM Viggen wheel is not as strong as it should/could be, but then I guess that is the price of using a performance tire wheel combo.
