I only going to tackle the cabin and engine filters in the coming weeks. The brake, coolant and trans are something I'll look into down the road (perhaps 96000km - 60k miles). I do way to much highway driving so it's the saving grace for the brake and trans. The coolant looks to come first and from what I read, it doesn't sound very difficult.

The cabin air filter costs about $55 Cdn. The price I quoted was at 32000km maintenance for $339 (200 US). This includes oil filter lube, tire rotation, cabin air and all the other mumble-jumble checks.

Sorry I meant alignment. I think all they do is visually look at it and fix if necessary. A friend, who is a mechanic, just looked at my car and he says its fine. I really don't think this needs to be done at 48000km. I'm not putting on a new set of tires or rims.

The emergency break was quoted by the tech guy when I call yesterday .... I shouldn't have mentioned this and I think it's part of Saab's 44 point inspection.
