That's a bogus line. Of course nobody buys either an Audi or a Saab as an "investment". That DOESN'T mean you stupidly throw your money away by not even considering depreciation. I mean, seriously, how important is "lifestyle" to you??? You can p*ss your money away now by throwing all your money at "lifestyle", or you can choose wisely, invest your savings, and then retire early with several hundred thousand dollars more in the bank. There's something to be said for delaying gratification just a little bit.
That having been said, Audi's aren't the residual value champs, either.
